
The Kaoma Orphanage in Western Province in Zambia is home to more than 130 children. Approximately 60 boys aged between 7 – 18 years old live in a section of the Orphanage called Boystown.
The living conditions in Boystown have fallen into disrepair. In 2008 Alan Kerins Projects funded the construction of a new 16-bed dormitory (see the images below).
The next phase is the construction of a 24-bed dormitory on the site.
